AbodesJoy also projects receiving $29,600 in in-kind donations this FY.

1.      The full AbodesJoy Board of Directors reviews and votes on the annual budget annually. This FY, a virtual Budget meeting was held on November 8, 2023, to ensure that every Board member’s voice could be heard. The Board unanimously (6-0) passed the AbodesJoy FY2023-2024 Budget, which lists the actuals from FY2022-2023.  

2.      As an advance in fiscal practices for this non-profit in its second year, this fall, AbodesJoy’s Treasurer reorganized the FY2023-2024 Budget to match AbodesJoy’s bookkeeper’s reporting format. That means that the bookkeeper’s AbodesJoy actual financials (actuals) may be generated as needed so that the Board may compare the budget to actuals for a given fiscal year or discrete period.

3.      A budget to actuals report will be generated and distributed at least twice a year to AbodesJoy Board members for their review.
